What a World

 It is an amazing concept considering the time of year, that I would be able to get a new TV up and running within 4 hours.

I get home to find that our TV is dead and my 14 month old son is not going to accept not having his Bluey ...

• 5:00 PM - Get home and found out that the TV is dead
• 6:00 PM - Found a 55" TV at Target that I could get for under $300
• 7:00 PM - Drive-Up order is ready
• Picked-up TV from Target
• 8:30 PM - Roku TV is configured and ready for the next day

It is crazy in general but less than a week before Christmas, with the stores packed, I am amazed that it was even possible to find let alone pick-up and configure a TV in less than 4 hours ... Go Figure.

New artistic addition to welcome my son to into my world

My son is everything to me and although I have a couple pieces of artwork already, I wanted to add something that would make him a permanent part of my existence .... This piece shows what "Coriander" seed grows into, Cilantro. My son Coriander will forever be in my heart and this will allow anyone and everyone around me to know what he means to me without knowing who he is ...

New Job

Starting a new job is exciting and nerve racking at the same time. I am stepping out of the comfort a little to work for a family based business that has been in operation for over 50 years.

A little bit of an income drop but half the distance away and family based, hopefully I can be an asset to them in this new adventure. 

I started my career out to build a future in Cooperate America but 50+ years and 3 generations, I see that as the true "America Dream".

Wild and Crazy Winds

Wow what wild and crazy wins we have had the last couple of days. I have lived here almost 40 years and I've never seen anything like it with expanded power outages for multiple days, high voltage lines down and trees not just being ripped out of the ground but literally large branches also snapping ...

I am thankful that I only lost TV and internet for 24 hours, not power for more than 24 hours

I am thankful that no trees fell down on my block and

I am also thankful that even though houses and cars were crushed, no lives were lost.
